Time: 9 a.m. Refreshments at Kitchell Pond parking lot
9:30 a.m. Walk/Bike Ride begins at Kitchell Pond

TLCNJ Pedal for Preservation

If you have the means, please consider this opportunity to get the family out on the trail. As off road cyclists, we often benefit from the land preserved by this organization. They also help counties and townships develop master plans for recreation and land use. Your participation helps to support their operations and show how appropriate off road cycling is for public land

Wildcat Ridge Trail

Wildcat Ridge WMA.....The remediation work from the power lines appears to be finished and the rework on the dam almost complete. Yet to be installed is a signal light to control the one-way traffic on the dam. The trailhead for the Wildcat Ridge Trail (yellow), has been reopened, and is located well beyond the west side of the  dam. It is in the back of the turn-around for the emergency boat launch. We encourage trail users to use this trailhead as it provides a safe exit from the trail and an entry point to the roadway where vehicles will be stopped for the light.

Please Vote on Ballot Question #2

As off road cyclists, we benefit directly from the efforts of land preservation agencies and groups who work tirelessly to identify and negotiate the purchase of land to remain for future generations to enjoy. To this point, funding has been contingent on continual renewal of Bonds that are uncertain. This uncertainty, slows progress in many ways. The work is not done, there is still much land in private holdings that we appreciate but could actually fall to developed in the future.
