RTP funding is in the hands of the Governor

The last hurdle in the RTP funding case is convincing the Governor to maintain funding for this program.
This is not going to be easy, so we need everyone to participate.
The easiest way is to utilize the web based response letter setup by the rails to trails Conservancy or ARRA site.

Lewis Morris TM Sat 6/16/12--- 8:15am at the boathouse

Hello Riders,

Just a reminder that this Saturday June 16th will be the Third TM date for Lewis Morris this year. We will continue to narrow trails that have widened over time and from the controlled burn. Also general clean up from past storms.

On May 19th we worked on the Orange and Yellow trail. We narrowed the trail, blocked some of the go around trails on the “switch back trail”, removed branches and removed a fallen tree at the end of the Roller Coaster Trail.

Meet at 8:15 am at the boat house, start 8:30am - finish 11:30am

RTP Funding at risk....again

The Recreation Trails Program is a major source of funding for trail projects in our parks. Please show your support by responding to these calls for action.
