Because of COVID, we had no large group sessions. Early in the season we did a lot of maintenance, from minor re-routes to clearing of lesser used trails, in particular Fish, Goat, Boulderdash, and Otterslide.

After years of work, multiple site visits and collaborating with the NY/NJ Trail Conference, we received approval for the Tapawingo Trail Expansion project. Our park supervisor Eric Pain worked with us and the Trail Conference for years to finally get this project approved, and we are incredibly grateful for his support. This project will allow us to expand our trail network into the neighboring Norvin Green State Park.

In October, we started work on the Paiute Trail re-route, part of the Tapawingo Project. After further consideration, we set aside that project to prioritize the re-route of the old Hewitt-Butler Trail. A small group started work on that in January, but the project was sidelined by winter weather. As soon as conditions allow, our priority will be to continue on the the Tapawingo expansion project, which will be ongoing for the next few year
