Marty’s Trail
Features optional jumps and berms
The Marty Epstein Memorial Trail was officially dedicated on September 19, 2021 and is a fitting recognition to all of the contributions that the late Marty Epstein made to the cycling community.
The clockwise direction of the trail, which is just about a mile long and located on the Randolph side of Dickerson Mine Preserve, starts off with a slight descent allowing riders to pick up speed for several optional jumps. As the trail begins a steeper twisty descent, riders maintain their speed thanks to the fun berms carved into the turns. The fun doesn’t end there, as it changes to a challenging rocky climb leading to the halfway point of the trail where you are treated with seasonal views of the lake and sunset.
As word spread, the “Marty Trail” has become one of the most popular trails in the park for all rider abilities.
