WOW, what a great day of racing for kids on the Kid’s Korse,   A total  of 76 racers came out, the largest classes were the Boys PreK – Grade 1 and Grade 2 – 3 with 11 starters in each class

The conditions were superb and kids were really flying around each 0.3mi lap.  The youngest racers completed 2 laps, the oldest racers in Grade 6 – 8 completed 6 laps

We are so thankful for the technical support from CycleCraft, checking each bike and helmet so that kids all started safe

Essex Parks Department helped with tent and tables and chairs and barriers for safety, helping to keep the race course clear as students flew past

Many thanks to all the volunteers who gave up part of a saturday morning in exchange for smiles and an opportunity to help get kids on bikes, having fun. Volunteers helped with registration, finish line judging, course marshalin and lead out riding.  The venue was completely quiet and cleared of all the course tape, information posters and any sign of a big event before noon and the zero impact on the traills could be seen.
