1. In 2024, The Jersey Off Road Bicycle Association (JORBA) has been working around the state of New Jersey to create destination riding areas as well as enhance and maintain beloved legacy trail systems. 
  1. New trail development projects are currently in play at Stephens State Park (Hackettstown, NJ), Perrineville Lake Park (Millstone, NJ), Clayton Park (Upper Freehold, NJ), Washington Valley Park (aka Chimney Rock, Bridgewater, NJ), Sterling Forest (Tuxedo, NY) and Wawayanda State Park (Hewitt, NJ) to name a few. 
  1. Extensive trail system enhancements and maintenance projects are planned for the summer of 2024 at Ringwood State Park (Ringwood, NJ), Jungle Habitat/RSP (West Milford, NJ) and Lewis Morris Park (Morristown NJ). 
  1. At the non-profit agency level, JORBA has recently modified our bylaws, reorganized the board of directors, created three new committees (i.e. Advocacy, Chapter Support and Ride/Marketing/Development/Outreach) and held elections for officer positions. 
  1. Our annual festival (i.e. JORBA Fest/The NJ Mountain Bike Festival) will be held on 9/22/2024 at Ringwood State Park.
  1. We are trying to revive JORBA Mountain Bike Rides to strengthen our community, foster fellowship and engage new members.  We are putting the final touches on acquiring the necessary insurance.  More to follow shortly!
