Don Sisto passed away tragically on Sept. 7, 2020. He was many things to many people: father, husband, brother, friend, businessman, mountain biker, road cyclist, skier, hockey player, golfer, gardener among a myriad of other things.   One of the things that was very close to his heart was cycling, specifically mountain biking. It was one of the many things that he shared with his brother and friend John Sisto. Together they rode trails, built a business and generally enjoyed spending time together.   Dallas Contracting Co., Inc. is the very successful demolition and remediation business they built together.

John has made a very generous equipment donation to JORBA in memorial of his brother, Don Sisto in the form of a Canycom which is a powered machine that has the ability to move rocks and dirt, among other materials, needed to build trails. This machine will do most of it’s work in support of the trails in Chimney Rock and Camp Cromwell but will be used in other parks in NJ when the need arises.

JORBA is very grateful for this generous donation which will allow mountain bikers across NJ to be connected to Don when riding trails built in part by this very special machine. A heartfelt thanks goes out John Sisto and Dallas Contracting Co., Inc. for playing a role in building and maintaining our beloved mountain bike trails here in the Rock Garden State.
