SUMMARY:MAHLON DICKERSON - SNOW BOWL TRAIL BUILD
DESCRIPTION:The RAD Trail Crew will finally be breaking ground at the Milton Snow Bowl. The long term vision here is for a downhill centric network of MTB trails on this old ski slope and this begins our work towards that goal. The crew will be clearing the tread and digging sidehill for the reroute of the existing Fire Tower Trail. This new multi use trail will be an enjoyable bike ride or hike to the summit of Bowling Green Mountain leading to the Milton Fire Tower. Ultimately\, this will be the uphill bike route that serves multiple exciting downhill options. \nMeet The Snow Bowl at 9am for a short walk to the worksite. The gate will be open\, continue past the gate\, following the gravel road straight back. Park on the right side of the field before going downhill to the base of the Snow Bowl. Tools and PPE will be provided.  Bring a lunch and plenty of water. Be sure to RSVP to karl@jorba.org or radtrailcrew@gmail.com so the proper amount of equipment can be available. Join all day or just for a few hours and be ready to get dirty! Camping is an option for Friday and Saturday evenings. RSVP for details. \nPlease sign the waiver in advance
