Many members of the NJ Mountain Bike Community gathered at the Hospital Road Parking Lot on Saturday, 10/18/2025 to say a few words about our favorite wookiee, Frank Harms. Then we rode out to the top of the switchbacks to see the new memorial bench, say a few more words and then the group installed a new workstand (also a new workstand was installed in the Hospital Road Parking Lot the night before). We then split into ride groups and enjoyed some great fall weather at the place Frank loved so much.
Much generosity was displayed on the part of the YDKSAMTB Facebook group who donated the trailside bench and JORBA who funded 2 workstands (i.e. one at the Hospital Road Parking Lot and 1 at the top of the switchbacks next to Frank’s bench).
Plans are already in the works for an annual memorial ride/fundraiser in Frank’s honor. Stay tuned!
