Atlantic County Trails

The Atlantic County JORBA Chapter maintains the Port Trails and Mill Pond Loop in Port Republic, New Jersey. Both offer a scenic and accessible mountain biking experience suitable for all skill levels. The Port Trails 5-Mile Loop combines sections of the Mill Pond Trails with the Bog Trails on both the north and south sides, creating a mostly flat, 7.8-kilometer (4.8-mile) route with minimal elevation gain. Meanwhile, the Mill Pond Loop is a shorter, 1.5-mile trail that winds through peaceful wooded areas and takes about 27 minutes to complete. Both trails are open year-round and shared with hikers and bird watchers, making them a great option for a relaxed, multi-use outdoor adventure.

The nearby Galloway Nature Preserve and Smithville Nature Preserve are also maintained by the Atlantic County Chapter.
