JORBA advocates on behalf of mountain bikers statewide and we enable grassroots mountain bike advocacy at the local level. JORBA’s mission is executed by chapters and committees.

The building and maintenance of trails in a park is carried out by local chapters of JORBA.

New Jersey Counties

County park commissions directly manage many of the riding areas in NJ. Funding and governance of county parks is usually done by the county executive and board of commissioners. Some notable counties prohibit mountain biking. JORBA constantly advocates for access trails for mountain bikes.
